I was very happy yesterday , when i got the great news that my last years most favorite movie "Taare Zameen Par" has been nominated as India's official entry into the Oscars - under the Foreign film category !! This movie based on the struggle of a child suffering from Dyslexia , was one of the best movies made in the last decade from India ! Also noteable is that , its Aamir "The Ace" Khan's second movie to get into the Oscars ! His previous "Lagaan" reached the Top 5 and lost it in the final round ! Hope this time , he gets his due !! :)

Its exactly one month since Bigg Boss Season 2 , went on air , and today it was time for the Surprise Wild card entry to join the Bigg Boss family !! And it was none other than 1997 Miss World Diana Hayden !! She is one of the many Miss Worlds from India and has stepped into the Bigg boss huse to relinquish her drooling career. She has acted in just one movie which was also a box office disiater. Off late she was working with the History channel presenting shows on it.

Bold babe Rakhi Sawant poured her heart out to her favt heartthrob, Salman Khan when she was invited at his TV show "Dus Ka Dum" !! Rakhi Sawant, who was at her usual candid best, said to Salman,

“Bas Bohot Hogaya… Sab Ne Aap Ko Bola Shaadi Karlo, Shaadi Karlo…Toh Main Aagayi hoon… Toh Ab Chalo!”

Shahid Kapoor will be seen in a different role in Vishal Bharadwaj’s "Kaminay" but the chocolate boy seems to be unlucky in its sets - as he has injured himself many times during the shoot. Shahid has got injured six times. First he had hurt his wrist and had to be rushed to the physiotherapist. In another scene that involved skidding, Shahid got badly bruised. He has just been getting one injury after another.Poor guy :(

First it was Salman Khan - who gave his hand of friendship towards Abhishek Bachan - his Ex-GF's hubby !! Now Junior Bachan has responded well to this gesture by telling

I never had any enmity with Salman. He is my senior and my friend, why would I have any rivalry with him!

Monica Bedi may have been evicted for the Big Boss House this week - but before she stepped into the Bigg Boss house she - on an exclusive interview to "Showtime" Magazine - opened up on many controversial topics like her love affair with Underworld don Abu Salem , life in prison ans her all new come back to Indian cinema and television !! This has been a week of controversies for Indian Reality shows !! And all of them have been in an attempt to gather TRP's for their respective shows ! First it was two guys fighting on 9X's " Kaun jeetega Hollywood ka ticket" and then a guy and a gal slapping each another on Bindaas's "Dadagiri" ! The last one to join this bandwagon is Sony's "Waar Parivaar" !! On the August 15th Independence day special episode , a family was introduced - saying that the husband lost his life in the Mumbai bomb blasts of 2006 - but it was later found out by media - that actually he had died only of an heart attack few weeks back !! This was a complete shame for the show and the makers of the show have not come out with anything on their defence !!!

MRS.Bhoomika Chawla ( Now Bhoomika Thakur) , after her much publicised wedding with Bharat Thakur few months back , has soon got back to acting !! And this time in a Tamil Flick !! She was last seen in tamil opposite Surya in Chillunu oru Kadhal !! This time around she's joining hands again with Srikanth (with whom she made her debut in "Roja Kootam" ! Another point to note is that she will be playing the role of a mom of a one year old kid in the movie - which also stars Prithviraj !!

"Nikki" Tanisha Mukherjee - like all other bollywood heroines who don seem to get jobs - will be soon be seen performing an item number for her next flick with Kabir Sadanand’s "Tum Milo To Sahi". The song will be Latin club song and we would se Tanisha gyrating to some great salsa moves. Tanisha who doesn’t know much about Salsa is equally excited about the song, adding,

“Yes, this is something new for me thus rehearsals were very important. I will be seen in a pink top and fitted brown pants. This is something I really enjoyed doing.”

” I borrowed her salsa shoes. I didn’t have salsa shoes and I used her shoes for the rehearsal,”

The brother-sister duo of Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor will make it to the Bigg Boss house to promote their film, "CKkompany" . Ekta and Tusshar will be promoting their film together in COLORS’ popular reality show, Bigg Boss. This film is being more popularized for the very reason that the viewer’s favorite television producer Ekta Kapoor will be seen showing her acting talent on the silver screen. Ekta and Tusshar will be interacting with this week’s evicted contestant of Bigg Boss on Friday August 29th in the eviction special episode involving Rahul Mahajan and Rakhi Tandon.

After Kangana Ranaut got dropped from Aamir's Gajini - she has nt taken on to that well !! She has focussed her attention to Jiah Khan who got her role instead !! When she was asked on her abbscense in the movie and also her comments on Aamir asking Jiah to take Acting clases before the movie started , Kangana is reportedly to have said :

“Sometimes its destiny but at least I wasn’t sent to acting classes by Aamir when he had selected me like he sent Jiah. He was confident about my acting skills!”

"Bebo" Kareena Kapoor can’t stop gushing and blushing over Hollywood hunk "Sylvester Stallone" !! Kareena Kapoor has shot with the Rambo star for Sajid Nadiadwala’s next venture - "Kambaqt Ishq".

She says,

I had a blast shooting with Sylvester Stallone! He is so down to earth. Here I was with my entire entourage- my make-up man, driver, spot boy, while he would arrive on the sets all by himself. There were no chaperones to unnecessarily fuss over him. He had no starry tantrums to throw. He even drove to the sets himself. Sly said that he preferred to do all the work by himself. Such a famous personality yet so humble. He was a complete contrast compared to us stars who are pampered silly. I think Stallone’s cool. He rocks.!!!

These two "Publicity monging" item gals are at logger-heads these days !! Although Sambhavna says that Rakhi is no competition to her , she still is a "Wannabe-Rakhi Sawant" !! This is evident from what she's upto in the Bigg Boss house - typical to what Rakhi was upto in Last year's season 1 !! She was also heard passing derogorative comments about Rakhi !! When this was asked to Rakhi , in the sets of her new talk show , "Rakhi Sawant Showz" - Rakhi told , "Sambhavna will always be a Wannabe-Rakhi sawant and will never become like me !! " Woooo , its gettin hot in here !! :)

After his super-hit "Jaane tu ya Jaane Na" - Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan is back with a bang and a awesome kool new look for his next film Kidnap ! But here , unlike his previous movie where he played a chocolate-boy (taking some advice from his uncles) he does the role of an anti-hero who kidnaps the millionare Sanjay dutt's daughter Minnisha (fresh from her role in Bachna Ae Haseeno) . The preview looks really stylish and kool ! Hope the movie is kool too !

It came as a complete shock to onlookers as , just 2 days after entering the Bigg Boss house, its most controversial contestant Jade Goody - was called to the Confession Room and was made to speak to her doctors in UK - who told her that she has been diagnosed with Cervical cancer ! Jade has undergone the Cancer tests earlier this month , and before she got her reports she decided to come on the show ! But as soon as the news came , she had to be immediately rushed to UK for her treatment and surgery . She left a teary GoodBye to her house mates. We hope Jade makes it - like the Fighter she is !!

Sources reveal that an Opinion Poll conducted by Endemol - the Production company of Bigg Boss Season 2 says that the best bet to win the Season 2 would be Monica Bedi - the estranged jail bird and also the love bird of Abu Salem !! It also comes in as a coincidence that she was the only person who did not get even a Single nomination in the first week's nomination which was led by Raja Chaudri (with 10 votes) and he is the most likely to ve evicted first from the house ! Also Jade Goody and her partner Payal Rohatgi were exempted from the first week eviction based on "Aditi Devo Bhava" !! :)
