Shankar seems to have set sight on Manoj Night Shyamalan, known for making films like Sixth Sense, The Village, Unbreakable, Signs and The Happening. Shyamalan may not be a complete sci-fi specialist but he knows how to keep people on their toes and that's exactly what Shankar wants. The top Kollywood director is said to have approached Shyamalan for discussing the finer elements of the script of Endhiran.
