After successive flops of "ATM" and "Kuruvi" , Vijay in a bid to get back to his top position , is currently desperately working for 'Villu' that is being directed by Prabhu Deva. Meanwhile he had done a cameo for his father's film 'Panthayam' that stars Nithin Sathya and Sindhu Tolani. Vijay plays himself in the film and features as though he is acting in a film titled 'MGR' directed by Perarasu(Yuck!!)
In the meantime , the announcement of his next movie has come !! His next venture after 'Villu' has been titled 'Vettaikkaaran' - the title of MGR's hit movie . It seems Vijay , who was dreaming to be the Next Superstar - now wants to be the next MGR :p
