UTV signed Suriya for Mugamoodi to be made under Mysskin’s supervision. Now, the news about Suriya’s new avatar has started to spread. In a year to two, we will see Suriya as the “caped crusader” saving people’s lives and fighting crime and injustice. It is also said that the film will be Kollywood’s version of comic book hero Superman’s story. But speculation is rife that the story might be slightly altered to herald the arrival of a new Kollywood superhero. Well, a new genre has begun in Kollywood: our own superhero films!
